    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Director of Technology, the MS SQL Server Engineer will be responsible for:

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Design and implementation of databases and ETL cubes for  new complex business solutions
    • Enhancement and support for existing solutions
    • Design and building of ETL routines using SSIS
    • Building and maintenance of SSAS cubes
    • Optimization, partitioning, archiving, and purging of databases
    • Integration of new technologies
    • Working closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Engineers and management, the SQL Server Engineer will ensure that all deadlines are met and that the quality and integrity of the product is of the highest level throughout the Software Development Life Cycle

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have:

     

    • An undergraduate degree in Information Technology or a related field of study
    • A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience, including Full Software Full Development Life Cycle
    • TSQL, SSIS, and SSAS experience is mandatory
    • Solid comprehension of retail data and reporting is desireable, as well as working knowledge of SQL 2016
